“Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” – James 2:17
As the world prepares to celebrate Father’s Day this month, I want to speak to you about the men in your life that you have been concerned about.
The enemy has purposely been targeting the men because they are the head of the household. The enemy has been targeting men in the streets, at their workplaces, in their finances, in their homes between spouses, children and parents, and fighting their mental health.
Countless men are dying from police brutality daily. Let’s review the past year and a half alone: Elijah McClain, George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, Daunte Wright, more recently Patrick Lyoya, and so many others.
You have spoken, you have prayed. Now let God speak, let God answer. I want you to believe God right now that He is dealing with that male figure in your life. What activates our faith is our action. Without action, faith is dead. There is no life to your faith until you activate with action.
The Bible says in James 2:17 that “faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
Now, I want you to listen to me and listen to me good.
God has blessed me to be the natural father of 9 children, 27 grandchildren, and a spiritual leader to thousands more down through the years.
I believe honoring the men who have poured into me has helped get me where I am today. Before the passing of my pastor, I honored him and learned the principle of his life. Sowing into his life many years ago is still blessing me today. God always chooses a man to lead people and to show the younger generation the way.
God paired Samuel with Eli, Elisha with Elijah and Timothy with Paul. For the Bible says in 1 Timothy 1:2 –
“Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.”
In other words, Paul proclaims Timothy his son in faith. Each of these men of God followed, and honored the patriarchal figure God put above them which ultimately led them to being great men of God.
The Bible says great men of God are to always pray.
I pray that every husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle, submit their plans to the Lord and their household will follow. I pray that men have the boldness to lead and be a man just like Abraham, for he is the Patriarch of many nations.
It’s an honor to be honored by God, and if you have been following me, I want you to consider anointing of the men in your life that you are praying for by faith.
As you are standing in faith with your Patriarchal Faith, Send Me the Names of the Men in your life, I will give a simple prayer to pray over that male figure in your life. Connect this prayer to your faith. The number 6 represents man because God created man during the 6 days of creation; and 5 is the number of God’s grace. His favor, protection and prosperity upon the life of the male figure in your life.
Move quickly on behalf of that male figure in your life, whether it be your husband, father, grandfather, son, brother or uncle.
God is dealing with that male figure.
