May 7 is the National Day of Prayer. We are here to pray and seek heaven for healing over the land. We pray that God will cover this ministry, its leadership, our family members, our loved ones and ourselves, as well as the nation and its leaders. This COVID-19 situation has got many people walking in darkness; but because we have the light within us and the light shines through darkness, the way is already made for us.
Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, I want you to know that God is not surprised by your situation. God is never caught off guard; God knows what will take place before it happens. Everything that happens on earth, God either permits or allows. With that said, do we just sit down and listen to everything around us? Or do we become proactive when it comes to our prayer life?
Our trust is in the word of God! We must walk with that and understand that our defense to anything in life is in the power and the Word of God. When we stand sure on God’s word, no harm can defeat us.
What we are doing here is spiritual. Prayer is powerful and spiritual. Prayer is a spiritual force that dominates the natural.
The Bible says in James 5:17:
Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
Elias was just like us. He was only of flesh and blood. But because he prayed, he was able to stop the rain from falling for three years and six months! Hallelujah!
Prayer dominates whatever is going on in the natural. Our prayers are so powerful, that no weapon, no virus, no plague, no hurt can stop them. And even if it hits your body, we’re going to be believing God that whatever came to destroy will die and not live. Prayer is a spiritual force that dominates natural laws and if Elias can stop the rain from falling, so can we!The good news is that we never ceased to pray! We prayed and we were in prayer when things were going good. We don’t need to be running to pray, we’ve already been praying!
Continue to pray with us for the National Day of Prayer on May 7th and beyond, throughout the entire month. Click here to join us on our Journey of Prayer as we activate different prayers and we seek more intimacy with God.
