God wants our attention!
God is not through working on this earth to reconcile man back to himself. When you look at Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, down through the decades, you see that special events happen during the same time that change history.
For example, the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, associate justice of the Supreme Court, passed away on Rosh Hashanah last year. She was of Jewish descent fighting for women’s rights and equality.
World events happen during these Feast Days. We are looking at times of change. Changes are coming spiritually, politically and economically. As we go through October, November and December, there are a lot of things that are going to happen.
We have to be ready to be covered by God’s grace and power when darkness comes. We must have our lives ready and prepared. Are you going to be prayed up? Are you going to be fasted up?
It’s not too late to prepare your heart and mind to start the fast.
Yom Kippur started in the evening, sundown yesterday to sundown on today. In Leviticus 23, the Bible tells us that “it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.”
It’s time to govern your homes. Set an atmosphere of praise and worship so that it can be conducive for the spirit of God as you prepare for a 24 hour fast.
As we have entered into this New Jewish Year, the year of 5782 on God’s calendar, what would you like and believe God for? What do you want to add in your life and subtract?
For example –
I want God to add more quiet time with the Lord.
I want God to add a closer walk with GOD.
I want God to add a more disciplined life.
I want God to add more love for GOD and loved ones.
I want God to add more love in my family.
I want God to add more financial increases.
I want God to add loving relationships.
I want God to subtract an unforgiving heart.
I want God to subtract hurts and pains.
I want God to subtract bad eating habits.
I want God to subtract sins in my life that’s hindering my walk with God.
I want God to subtract sickness and disease.
I want God to subtract poverty and lack.
Say this prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I want to do better this year in my life. I am tired of the stagnation. I am tired of the lack. I am tired of going in circles. Be a lamp unto my feet and light my ways. Help me to follow your will for my life so that I may walk out my destiny. Help me to restore my covenant with you that I may never leave your spirit. Continue to cover me and my household all the days of my life.
Let us agree in faith and through the prayer of agreement. Say this prayer so that you release your life.
